Carp spawning and grass hoppers

I promised to video the carp when they started to spawn but I had no luck as I must have the only camera shy carp in France!  Every time I went down to lake they stopped spawning and have now finished.  With recent hot weather we have had an explosion of baby grass hoppers and they are everywhere!  They are driving the dogs mad as they keep landing on them… and I spend a lot of time rescuing them from the dogs water bowls.
