“Lee & tracy were exceptional hosts again. They always make us feel very welcome and at home. They’re always willing to help and give advice. We have all had a fantastic week and are desperately sorry to be leaving. Can’t wait to come back!! Just wish we could come back more often. 5 star all round!”

Lakeside

This is one unspoilt little gem of a lake which is not only great fishing  but also allows your non anglers to enjoy the local harbour & beaches at Pleneuf Val Andre within an hour’s drive.  The high quality cottage is nestled just a 400m stroll from the lake and has one double and 2 single bedrooms. The BBQ at the side of the lake means you can enjoy family BBQs together interrupted only by your carp alarms going off… what more could you ask for?

The lake itself has carp to 43lb and contains a fair few stunning leather carp too, often a rarity on other waters.

The lake usually rewards anglers with some great action and fishes well especially to the overhanging  far margins.  Having the lake exclusive though, means you can take the day out having rested your swim knowing that action is waiting and no one has interfered with your lake whilst you were away.

We all know it’s been an extremely cold start this year but Ian Park who went in the middle of March, sums it up well…   ‘Tracey and lee are great hosts – nothing is too much trouble and the food and accommodation are great – the lake is also productive, even in the winter – we had a great time and would book there again’
