The lake is under 30 minutes from Bergerac airport and the venue offers free transfers to and from the airport.
The 8 acre lake is not difficult and therefore suitable for groups of mixed experience, but offers plenty of features to keep even the most picky of anglers interested. It is well stocked with carp to just under 60lb.
What facilities can I expect with all inclusive carp fishing in France?
Whilst the lake is tucked away to one end in a beautiful and mature setting, it also forms part of a small holiday complex. This provides a very impressive array of facilities for your use during the week:

- Food packages available, restaurant & bar on-site, open all year round
- On-site bait
- Optional accommodations (two villas sleeping up to four people each)
- Use of the holiday complex facilities which include tennis courts and swimming pool
Thanks to the lake’s position, none of these facilities impact on the privacy of the water or interfere with the angling. They remain out of sight but close by. You’d be very happy here as a serious angler wanting to get away from it all or as someone needing a few more comforts for your partner or family on site.
The restaurant and bar is very popular, with a good menu including some english classics and the occasional musical event in the evening. If you fancy a break away from the rods then just take a stroll over.
We’ve seen return flights to and from Bergerac for as little as £40. The venue also offer transfers from Bordeaux and Limoges airports but this would incur a charge.

The average depth of the lake is 5-7ft. Whilst a lot of the bottom is uniform, you can find a variety of drop offs, plateaus and soft mud/clay areas which are hot spots for the carp. There are features in every swim including three small lily beds and a fallen tree trunk.
On an average week you can usually expect to see plenty of mid to high 20lb’ers and a good selection of 30lb-40lb+ carp. Perhaps even a 50lb+!
The lake also has some lovely black bass to around 4lb 8oz, some bream and some small jack pike.
