Angling Lines have recently been accepted by the International Passenger Protection scheme to offer cover to our customers. This means that all customers booking with Angling Lines are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Angling Lines.
This is a requirement of the European Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations (1992) and one we’ve always covered by holding your money safe in a client account until after your holiday has been taken. Never the less we felt that in the light of several high profile financial failures of Travel Agents over the summer of 2010 we need to take every step we can to give you full confidence to place your trust in us.
